We at Can’t Dutch This believe that learning the local language will contribute to your living experience in The Netherlands. Being able to understand the spoken and written Dutch will open new doors, give you a much better work prospect and create new social interactions.
Therefore our courses focus on understanding the spoken language in order to quickly speak the language yourself. We designed the course ourselves, with an emphasis on making the classes informal, fun and interactive. Each course includes real life excursions, to help you practice Dutch in a real-life environment. Teachers are motivated and the groups are kept intentionally small in order to create a safe and ‘gezellig’ social environment.
Dutch basic
course
- 10 weeks long, 2-hour weekly classes
- Language level: A0 (no experience required)
During this course you will learn Dutch from the very beginning, you will learn the essential vocabulary, grammer and skills to speak basic conversational Dutch. During the course you will go on 2 fun events.
Dutch intermediate course
- 10 weeks long, 2-hour weekly classes
- Language level: A1 - B1
During this course you will continue with improving your conversational skills. You will learn more flexibility to speak Dutch and gain more confidence in doing so. During the course you will go on 2 fun events, where you will speak Dutch in public.
Dutch advanced course
- 10 weeks long, 2-hour weekly classes
- Language level: B1 (and higher)
During this course you will make the final steps in feeling confident in speaking Dutch with people around you. You will engage in reading, listening, writing and speaking exercises. This course will contain multiple offline events.
Dutch private
course
- Dates and times are flexible
- Language level: A2 (and higher)
During a private course you can focus on specific learning goals. People chose private courses to further improve their pronunciation, fluency and confidence. The hours and frequency of this course can be tailored to your preferences.
